The M badge is always reserved for the fastest, sportiest and most powerful models in the BMW range. We now welcome the all new M8 Competition, which will be available in both coupe (pictured) and convertible form. It will become the new top-of-the-range BMW, with pricing in the region of and £130,000 (UK) $150,000 (US). It joins one of the motoring world's most celebrated model lines.

When BMW unveiled its first road-going car from its Motorsport division at the 1978 Paris motor show, few could have predicted just what a draw the M badge would become. At first M cars were few and far between, but with the brand now established it offers a reworked version of just about every BMW model.
